Modified copolymer waterproofing
MCI waterproofing is a two-part waterproofing that, according to the research report of the Building and Housing Research Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Publication No. G-452, is a cold fluid membrane based on polymer cement and acrylic styrene dispersions with flexibility and elasticity. Above, it is used for sealing all concrete and non-concrete surfaces. This product is applied in semi-solid form on the surfaces and after drying it forms a flexible layer, 100% waterproof, with very high adhesion (about 2 MPa). In the classification of waterproofing materials in the world, due to the fact that the implementation of this product is the same as the implementation of paint coatings, this product is referred to as a polymer cement-based waterproof paint (Polymer Cement-Based Waterproof Paint). According to the studies, polymer-based waterproofing coatings have better flexibility and elasticity, longer life and higher heat resistance compared to bitumen-based systems such as Isogam and Qirguni.
